Neon Drift Circuit

Neon Drift Circuit is unapologetically arcade. Forget realistic physics — this is about holding a drift around a neon corner and watching your boost meter fill. The one-touch drift system is the whole hook, and it feels great once the tracks start throwing chained turns at you.

There's a light career mode with car upgrades, but the real fun is in beating your own lap times. The sense of speed is convincing, and the soundtrack pushes you forward. I did wish for a few more track layouts, since you start to memorize them fairly quickly.

On the technical side it holds a steady frame rate even during busy races, which matters a lot for a game this fast. If you want a racer you can pick up and immediately enjoy, this nails it.
